When my son got addicted to drugs, I knew that it was going to be a difficult time for all of us. For a close knit and religious family like mine, one would not imagine that we would end up having our son to fall into the trap. I always think that God has a way of testing those who are already close and near to Him, and that this is just one of the trials I am supposed to deal with together with the family.

The first thing that I did was to get him in a rehabilitation facility so he can get himself clean. I asked for the help of a spiritual life coach which is known in our area, in the hopes that we can get some clear answers as to why things had turned out this way for him. I am hoping that he can find peace and inspiration through this person, and be able to move forward with his life.

When I get home from work, I would usually be busy preparing some dinner for myself and wind down before I get to bed. Work can be sometimes very tiring and stressful, and heading off to my apartment allows me to relax and relieve myself of the pressure I experience in the office. I deserve a break after all, so I engage in a number of activities in order to unwind and release my tension.

My daughter has recently been accepted to one of the prestigious schools for music in the country. I could not contain my happiness when I heard that she had passed the audition, and found myself at awe with the way she had managed to accomplish things at such a young age. I know that this will not be a bed of roses for her, but this opportunity can open up a lot of possibilities.

There are a lot of things she would need to work on and I fully trust her future instructors for her to improve on her craft. Harmony music is just one of the aspects she is expected to learn, and I cannot wait to see the difference of actually having her part of this school. I am sure that she will be able to enhance the talent she has and move further to achieve her dreams.

My friends and I would usually go to karaoke joints since we enjoy singing. It can be very frustrating though since we would much rather have fun by ourselves and not have to wait our turn for the microphone. We prefer private and intimate gatherings where we can all be ourselves and let loose. After all, we do this in order to unwind and release the tension we feel.

My father gave me a 4 string banjo as an early Christmas present. I have a performance in school a few days before Christmas, and I would want to have a brand new instrument to play with. My old banjo was passed down to me by my brother, who gave the instrument after my father bought him a new one last year. His new banjo was given after we found out he got accepted in Berkeley for music composition.

I am quite happy with my new banjo as I have always asked my father to get me a new one.
